I was born into New York City on August 28th, 1964, and I've lived there most of my life. My parents are funky artist-types (they don't like to be described as ex-hippies...), and I have one sister, Alysa, who keeps me on my toes.

After attending prep school in Massachusetts (Northfield Mount Hermon School), I got restless, and abandoned Sarah Lawrence College for a dose of "real life," working in an investment bank for seven years. At that point, "reality" wasn't sitting well with me, so I quit my job and went to New York University to major in film and television production. I graduated in 1994, and started Tree of Life Productions. My first internet access was in June of 1995. Suffice it to say that the net eventually disturbed my general lifestyle, provided me with a slew of precious friends, and warped me beyond repair.

I don't have much free time these days, but I usually spend it enjoying the company of my boyfriend, Charles, hanging out with friends, getting settled in my new job/apartment, going out to clubs on occasion and working on independent projects. I'm still mourning the loss of my long-time feline companion, Gotta the PyschoKitty,and don't have any other pets. Well, I do have Monk and Teddy to help me out.
